On some days makeup needs to be unfussy and effortless. For me these are weekdays when I rather have that extra 10 min in bed in the morning than spend 30 mins glamouring.
So I have managed to carry the minimum of products on my morning commute to work to get my makeup done.
So below are the key products I am using to get the maximum coverage and yet look natural with little effort.
After moisturising (don’t forget sunscreen) I take 1 pump e.l.f Poreless Face Primer, I purchased this primer in LA and I have to say its perfect for anyone like me who has enlarged pores. I then mix the primer with 2 drops of No7 Match Made Foundation Drops in Deeply Honey ( this has been the only shade that is perfect match to my skin colour) its the perfect size too small for enough for any makeup bag. Using a damp Beauty Blender I gently apply to my face. I then go over my vitiligo spots and any blemishes with NARS matt concealer in Chestnut ( Tip: use your fingers as this warms up the concealer and helps to blend).
I love this Chanel Blusher in Reflex as its the perfect peach colour with gold specks that help bring a bit of life into my face. I apply this on the apple’s of my cheeks.
Using Tweezerman Eyelash Curlers, I curl both my eyelashes. I then apply 2 coats Voluminous Million Lashes in Black. I only apply this to the top lashes as I find applying to my bottom lashes always leaves me with mascara residue (does anyone else have that issue?).
I recently purchased a new Tom Ford Lipstick in the colour Indian Rose, this is a satin lipstick so its quite moisturising and hydrating.
All the above are my staples and go to makeup products.
I wonder how long does your everyday makeup take? Are there any makeup items that are your holy grail?
